Well, first there’s this very website! I’ve updated it, in large part because I had picked a tech stack that turned into a hamster wheel made of updates and deprecation warnings. I just want a place where I can write and make fun web things.
I keep thinking about Malleable software, and I think I’ll be thinking about it for the foreseeable future.
As I write this, I’m having my first real lull in client projects since 2019-2020. I don’t know what my next project will be. I remember feeling somewhat jealous during the Covid lockdown, because most of the people around me had to adapt to suddenly getting more free time, while I got swamped with work and prospects. The inertia held until 2025.
I’ve been very slow at resuming my writing and generative art practice lately. I feel I was taken out of the game by parenthood and a rough year of managing chronic anxiety (both happening at roughly the same time, of course). I’ve made time for a few scattershot articles in 2025, which feels pretty good – I noticed the uptick when laying out the new Journal page on this site.
